Rechelle McNairRechelle joined the firm in February of 2009 as a part time receptionist. She jumped in boots and all and started streamlining processes around the office. She forgot about the job title and was just doing what came naturally. These accountants weren’t quite sure what they had got themselves into!! She worked for Southern Cross Healthcare at their Head Offices in Grafton for 7 years. In her time there she created and presented training modules, assisted with the design of the company intranet, worked on the executive team in implement a loyalty program , and implemented new technology into their call centres. In August of 2009 she took on the role of Executive Assistant/Marketing. In her new position she is responsible for communication initiatives, IT, and annoying Clinton. Her easy going friendly manner matched with her experience make her a great asset to our firm. She has no accounting background which in her words “makes her normal” when it comes to not understanding accounting jargon. She is passionate about ensuring all our technical accounting terms are a thing of the past so all our communication with clients is clear and easy to understand. The native Texan married a Kiwi in 1992- which shows good judgment on her part. She enjoys dance and drama and has taught workshops to kids in the community. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, catching up with friends, travelling, sitting down on big cushy couch with a good book, and any movie made from a Jane Austen novel. |
