 Nicole MatheeNicole is diligent, hard working, honest and sincere. She has Bachelor in Commerce, Diploma in Business and has joined the Chartered Accounting community in 1998. But she most proudest of her family. She has been happily married for over 10 years and is lucky enough to be the mummy of one tenacious little boy. Family is important and to her, family extends far beyond blood relatives. As a matter of fact, many of Nicole’s closest friends were clients first. She was born and raised in South Africa. Her parents were self-employed. They started out with little more than a want and a dream, and managed to build up a successful business. For 25 years, this was a big part of family life.Weathering the “ups and downs” a business can bring is an experience that has given Nicole firsthand knowledge on how these effect personal life. She began her working career in the Hotel industry in South Africa while she was studying for her Bachelors. Near the end of her studies she moved into the incredibly exciting field of accounting.In 2000 her family went in search of greener pastures, which they found in the land of long white cloud. And she came to baldry + sanford in October 2006. She has a genuine desire to help others and gets a real kick when using her skills and knowledge to assist clients with reaching their goals. She is one of those few people who sees things in a way others often miss. This combination of talent, skill, knowledge and her caring nature make a great recipe for person, especially an accountant. When she is not negotiating the challenges of motherhood and working, she enjoys travelling, listening to music (which she does at work as well!), and roaming the seas – 30 meters below. She and her husband qualified as Advance Scuba Divers in 2003 and are always keen on weekend full of fun and adventure. |
